He spent his early years working the roofs himself, learning every material, every technique, and every way a roof can fail. By the time he launched Truett Roofing & Exteriors, he had already completed hundreds of roofs hands-on. That experience isn't in a brochure. It's on every job.
Northern Virginia was the right place to build the business. The housing stock is dense, diverse, and constantly turning over. New construction, older colonials, townhomes, high-end custom homes — Jack has worked on all of them. The region's weather — ice in January, tropical storms in August, hail in spring — means roofs here earn their wear, and replacements need to be done right.
The name Truett is a family name — and that matters. This isn't a franchise or a regional branch of a national chain. It's a locally owned operation where the owner's reputation is on every roof.

The business now serves Northern Virginia, the Jacksonville Beach area of Florida, and the Wilmington, NC market. Each location operates with the same owner-on-the-job standard — no matter where the crew is working, the work reflects the Truett name.
